Dr. Anthony Tat brings nearly a decade of diverse clinical experience and a deeply compassionate approach to our team. A South Bay native and alumnus of Archbishop Mitty High School, Dr. Tat earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from UC Riverside before receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the prestigious Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California (USC) in 2015.
Driven by a commitment to clinical excellence, Dr. Tat spent time practicing in both California and the Midwest, mastering fast-paced clinical environments and sharpening his skills in advanced restorative and surgical care. To ensure his patients have access to the latest advancements in dentistry, he recently completed a prestigious, year-long Periodontal and Implantology Fellowship under the world-renowned Dr. Samuel Lee, mastering cutting-edge implant placement and advanced oral surgery.
Dr. Vellequette has also contributed to the profession beyond clinical practice by serving on legislative committees and as an alternate delegate for both the California Dental Association (CDA) and the American Dental Association (ADA). In these roles, he has advocated for policies that support patient care, advance oral health, and strengthen the dental profession at both the state and national levels.
Dr. Tat emphasizes patient education and autonomy. He believes that the best dental care is collaborative, ethical, and tailored entirely to each individual’s comfort.
After practicing in various regions, Dr. Tat is thrilled to finally be back home settling down in the Bay Area. When he isn’t helping patients achieve healthy smiles, he enjoys spending quality time with his family and staying on the cutting edge of modern dental technology.
A Los Altos native and graduate of St. Francis High School in Mountain View, Dr. Vellequette enjoys staying connected to his community and giving back whenever possible. Beyond his professional commitments, he dedicates quality time to his three children and values the importance of family life.
He also maintains a healthy, active lifestyle through skiing, swimming, and hiking, which reflect his belief in balance and overall well-being. These pursuits outside the office help him bring renewed energy and focus to his patients, further enhancing the care he provides.
